Prices

Most consultancies quote in private. Hamnett Enterprises publishes entry prices and typical project ranges for every practice, and the posts under this tag explain how those numbers are built and how they behave in practice. They cover what a fixed price includes and excludes, where a range is the fairer instrument, how a scoping call turns into a written quote, and what a visible number does for the quality of the enquiries that arrive. Where a post compares our prices with market rates, the source and the date of the comparison are stated. Where an engagement type stays individually negotiated, such as board mandates and transaction work, the post says why. The aim is that an owner can estimate the cost of a piece of work from the website alone, before the first conversation, and can hold us to it afterwards.
