Portfolio

What the holding owns

Hamnett Enterprises holds operating companies in software and services. Two positions today, both entered to be held rather than flipped.

The approach

Bought to keep

The holding builds, buys, and backs operating businesses, and it deploys its own treasury. Companies are acquired with the intention of holding them. Resale stays an option and never becomes the plan.

The portfolio is deliberately short. Each position is entered on written reasoning with a stated trigger that would reverse it, and capital moves in small reversible steps rather than one large bet.

TalentAid is a recruiting technology company and the founding operating subsidiary of the holding. It is the first proof point for the way Hamnett Enterprises intends to build: a small team, modern automation carrying the administrative load, and engineering led from the top.

What comes next

Adding to this list

The holding is actively looking for its next company. The clearest route is succession, buying a profitable owner-run business in the Rhein-Main region from a retiring owner and keeping it running. If you own such a company, or advise someone who does, the acquisitions page sets out exactly what we look for and how a conversation works.
